Rose Origami and White Day
Here is one I made on last year's valentine. I used the instructions given on the link to make it.I think the bigger the rose (and paper) is, the easier it is, especially if it is your first time. The paper I used here is the same as the one I used to make the rose paper quilling for my mother's birthday hahaha.. So, enjoy, try it out!

DIY gift for my mom
Hey! It was my mother's birthday yesterday. Since I already bought quilling tools, I decided I would give her my first go. :D It's actually pretty easy if you have the tools. Also, because I am a cheap person, I did not want to buy the more expensive pre-cut quilling papers and cut the cost by buying a A4-sized colored paper instead. I could get like 20 papers for Rp5,000 (about 50 cents US) than Rp20,000 (more than US$2.00) for less than a sheet of paper's worth of pre-cut papers. The paper should be 80-100 grams tho, otherwise it won't be rigid enough or too rigid/thick. However, if there is none near your place, I guess somewhere near that should be fine.
Ruler, colored paper, safety knife (called 'cutter' in my country), paper glue, scissors and a quilling needle. the glue should come out transparent and should dry out quick, so you don't need to hold it for long. To apply the glue, search for a small points or objects like a toothpick.

First Post of My First Blog
a frog origami from wayback |
Hey, Cynder here! How are you everyone? :D
So, this is my first post! Hooraaay!
I will try to dedicate this blog to paper crafting even though my interests usually run amok and go everywhere. Using this blog, I will also try to improve my skills on crafting, and may be design some random stuff.
So, I need to make a deadline for myself, so this blog stays active. Maybe a post every two week? Then, maybe after I accustom myself to blogging and have customized this blog enough to my liking I will post more often. But for now, one post every two week it is. Probably at Sundays.
So maybe you want to remind mo to do that too in case I forget. LOL.
For now just enjoy the Frog Origami picture, maybe I can show how to make it sometime.
So, see you next time!
